We're glad you're interested in joining our ranks. Our nationwide corps of volunteers is truly the lifeblood of CO-STAR. Through the efforts of caring and interested people like you, we are able to help keep America's educational venues unfettered by oppressive, and sometimes illegal, acts.

Although we are particularly interested in lawyers, teachers and students, we can use the help of anyone who is aligned with our programs and is willing to help.

The time commitment involved in being part of our organization is extremely small. We use our volunteer network as references and resources--not as workhorses. Volunteers are often utilized as intellectual reinforcement who may have specific information that will be of use. For example we often call a local attorney when we are dealing with a situation in a state with which we are unfamiliar. The attorney, hopefully, can make us aware of any local laws and regulations we need to take into account. The same goes for professors, who inform us of local practice in academic dealings.
